How would you describe your time at MTVN/Nickelodeon?

Develop and implement best practices to allow the brands to navigate the regulatory and self-regulatory climates within the entertainment industry, ensuring that the lines of business are ideally positioned to successfully execute effective child and adult-directed marketing programs on all media platforms, including television, print, online and wireless.

Have a proven track record partnering with the Nickelodeon Brand Management, Integrated Marketing, Consumer Products, Sales, Online, Digital and Magazine Groups to ensure that the company growth and revenue targets are met while maintaining the integrity of the brand.

Extensive expertise in the launch and marketing of new media platforms, including WAP sites, social networking websites for both children and adults, and VOD. Have also partnered with various lines of business within Nickelodeon to launch promotional programs on these platforms.

Consult with the lines of business and our clients to implement innovative, multimedia marketing campaigns while navigating cleanly through the regulatory landscape. Advise clients on the FCC Childrens Television Act and various FTC regulations, including the Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and general advertising law. Also advise clients on the Childrens Advertising Review Unit (CARU) guidelines, the Better Business Bureaus Childrens Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative, and the federal governments recent scrutiny of food-related advertising and marketing. Also provide expertise on FTC scrunity of inappropriate content to children as it relates to the movie, music and video game industries.

Manage personnel and resources within the department. Assess systems and processes, and design and implement new methods to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the Standards function across multiple lines of business.
